The Komplete FX Bundle 2026.1 packs 22 plug-ins into one installer, and each one changes your mix through a few well-placed controls.

Enhanced EQ — adds a low-cut and a high-cut filter alongside the two passive bands, so you can clean up rumble without extra steps.

Separate installers leave your existing NI gear untouched

You might wonder whether a bundle this big conflicts with other Native Instruments stuff you already own. It doesn't. Each plug-in installs as a separate component, so Komplete Kontrol, Reaktor or Kontakt stay untouched. The patch does its work on the authorisation layer only — your existing presets, user libraries and third-party integrations remain as they were.

Another common one: do you need Native Access to run these? No. The package bypasses the usual Native Instruments launcher. You install the plug-ins from the provided folders, run the patch, and the bundle works standalone inside your DAW. That also means you don't need an internet connection during or after the install.

And about compatibility with other plug-in formats — the bundle installs VST, AU and AAX versions where applicable, so Logic, Ableton, Cubase, Pro Tools and most other hosts pick them up without extra configuration. If you use only AU, you can skip the VST installers to save a bit of disk space.

Nothing about the bundle demands a fast internet connection — no cloud checks, no activation servers. Once the files are on your drive, they stay there. The patch is applied locally, and the plug-ins remember their state between sessions.

Push Transient Master attack to 2 o'clock for drums

Most plug-ins in this bundle open with sensible defaults, but a few benefit from an early tweak.

• Transient Master — the attack and sustain knobs default to neutral. For drums, try pushing attack to around 2 o'clock and sustain back to 10 o'clock; it tightens the hit without losing body.
• Replika XT — the delay mode defaults to Digital. Switch to Tape or Analog for darker repeats that sit behind the source instead of on top of it.
• Raum — the reverb time defaults to a long hall. Dial the decay down to 3-4 seconds for a more usable room sound that won't eat your mix.
• Solid Bus Comp — the ratio starts at 2:1. For drum buses, try 4:1 and adjust the make-up gain until the output level matches the input.

These aren't rules — just starting points that get you closer to a usable sound faster.

Pick only the plug-ins you need with individual installers

The bundle's structure itself is a convenience: every plug-in is a separate installer, so you pick only what you need. If you only want the REVERB CLASSICS (Raum, RC 24, RC 48) and the VINTAGE COMPRESSORS (VC 2A, VC 76, VC 160), you can install just those folders and skip the rest.

The PREMIUM TUBE SERIES — Passive EQ, Enhanced EQ, Vari Comp — shares a consistent interface layout. Learn one, and the others feel familiar immediately. Same with the SOLID MIX SERIES: Solid EQ, Solid Bus Comp and Solid Dynamics use the same visual language, so switching between them during a mix session is faster than switching between unrelated plug-ins.

The CRUSH PACK tools (Bite, Dirt, Driver, Freak) are designed for digital distortion, but they work well at low settings for subtle saturation too. Don't assume they are only for aggressive sounds — Bite at 10-20% adds presence without harshness.

And the MOD PACK (Flair, Choral, Phasis) covers flanger, chorus and phaser. Each has a mix control, so you can blend the effect rather than applying it fully. That makes them usable on vocals and acoustic instruments, not just synths and guitars.

Lastly, the bundle includes no standalone app — everything is a plug-in. That means you never have to launch an extra window or manage a separate library. Open your DAW, insert the effect, and work.
