Mac music and DJ software, from the decks

About Torrents for Mac

I'm a music student in Valencia, and at weekends I DJ wherever someone will have me. Both halves of that life run on a MacBook Air, which means I've spent far too many evenings working out whether a DJ app, a plugin or an audio converter will actually behave on it. Torrents for Mac is where I write that down, so you don't have to spend the same evenings.

What you'll find here

DJ Software and Audio are the heart of it, with VST Plugins and Audio Converters right next to them. Around those sit the basics every Mac needs: Video, Utilities and general Mac Apps, plus a Games section for the train home after a late set.

What every page shows

The current version, the download size, the macOS version it needs, and whether it runs natively on Apple silicon, on Intel, or on both. If installing it needs an extra step, like allowing an audio driver in System Settings, the page says so. When a new version comes out, the page moves with it. Older builds stay up if they're still useful, because not every DJ laptop gets the newest macOS, and a stable setup before a gig matters more than a shiny one.

Reading is free and needs no account. With a free account you can save favourites, get a notice on the site when something you saved is updated, and comment. Comments are checked before they go up, so yours shows as awaiting moderation for a bit. The comments are honestly some of the best bits of the site: which controller mapped cleanly, which buffer size stopped the crackles, that kind of thing.
