Terms of use

Using Torrents for Mac means you agree to these terms. Here they are, without the legal fog.

1. Info, not a promise

Everything here is what I know and what I've seen, nothing more. Whether a given app behaves on your laptop is something only your laptop can answer, so read the requirements, and never install something new on your gig machine the night before a set.

2. Accounts

Make your own account with an email that's yours, and don't share the login with your bandmates. Anything posted from it counts as you.

3. Comments

Keep the vibe decent: no insults, no doxxing, no spam, no dodgy download links, no fake identities.

4. Moderation

Comments go up when I approve them and come down if they break the rules. I don't argue about it in the comments.

5. Other people's software

Each app, plugin and trademark mentioned here is owned by the company that makes it. If one crashes, their support team is the place to ask.

6. No warranty

No guarantees come with any of this. Within whatever limits the law sets, I won't be responsible if using the site, or the software on it, costs you files, time or anything else.

7. My writing

I wrote these pages. Borrow a line and link back if you want; republishing whole pages isn't okay.

8. Changes

These terms might change, and this page always has the current version.
