Track Separation is the one that caught me first. Loop Mash Up Pro lets you pull vocals, drums or melody from any audio file and turn them into fresh loops. No hunting for stems — you just load a track and work with what you’ve got.

AI track generation and live recording

  • AI track generation. Pick one of six electronic music styles and let the app build a starting point. Useful when you’re stuck or just want to experiment fast.
  • Live recording. Record a take, save it straight to your computer, and drop it into a project. No extra routing.
  • All samples from pro musicians. Every loop and one-shot was made by people who do this for a living, so the quality is consistent.

How it fits a working session

I usually start with AI generation to get a rhythm bed, then swap out individual loops with my own recorded takes. Track Separation helps clean up samples that don’t sit right. The whole thing runs on Intel Macs with macOS 11 or later, and the interface is available in nine languages including English, Spanish and Japanese.

A real session with Loop Mash Up Pro

Say you're a beatmaker prepping for a live set. You have a vocal sample from an old track, but the drums bleed into it. With Track Separation, you isolate the voice, load it as a loop, and assign it to a pad. Then you pull a dubstep bass from the built-in presets, trigger both with hotkeys, and record a live take. The result goes straight to your desktop — no export menus, no bouncing. That’s a finished clip in minutes.

Hotkey setup and music style shortcuts

  • Skipping the hotkey setup. The pads and loops can be rearranged and assigned to keyboard shortcuts, but many new users just click on screen. Assigning hotkeys early makes live recording much faster.
  • Ignoring the six music styles. People jump straight into Track Separation and forget the AI generation can give you a solid rhythm skeleton. Even if you plan to replace everything later, starting with a style saves time.
  • Not checking the sample quality. Every sound was made by pro musicians, so the loops are clean. Beginners sometimes layer too many conflicting loops and blame the app — the issue is usually just too many elements fighting for space.

Intel-only installer with Gatekeeper bypass

Loop Mash Up Pro version 1.2.17 runs on macOS 11 and later, Intel architecture only. The installer is a disk image that you mount, then you open Gatekeeper friendly, press Enter in Terminal to bypass Gatekeeper, and drag the app to Applications. That’s it. The interface comes in Russian, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese (traditional and simplified), Korean, Portuguese, French and Japanese. No need to hunt for a language pack.

The app is built as a loop mash up pro tool first — sampler, beat creator, dubstep mixer. Loop Mash Up Pro lets musicians blend and trigger loops live during performance. This is the actual software. The same goes for loop mash up pro as a download: you get the full app, with AI generation, live recording, and Track Separation all in one package.

Loading it onto the Mac

  1. Mount the disk image and open Gatekeeper friendly.
  2. Press Enter in Terminal to bypass Gatekeeper.
  3. Drag the app to the Applications folder.
  4. Start using the app.
